Diaz & Ass.; Monday [01/08].
Well, Rosa figured she had to stop using the end of the year and all the holidays and whatever as an excuse to not bother much with working, but, in her defense, she was probably elsewhere for a lot of these Mondays, she just wasn't going to tell you about it, because it wasn't any of your damn business.
It was, however, her business to be in the office and run her agency, she supposed, so she was there, pondering what was more satisfying, ignoring emails by deleting them entirely without reading them one at a time or in big swatches. She did a little of both, and then decided that it really depended on her mood at any given second.
And then the phone had the audacity to ring and she glared at it to see if that would make it stop, which it didn't so she sighed and reluctantly picked it up, only to then have some rando babble on about her singing the praises of Wheeler's fine detective work last week, which was annoying, because now she had decide whether she should actually let Wheeler know about the compliment to help....foster her self-confidence and future detectiving ambitions...or to just not say anything because the last thing she needed was that kid getting a big head.
Her hair was big enough already.
