Steve's job wasn't just "Navy" any longer (and his rank had restored to Lieutenant Commander), and so now he was incredibly busy doing paperwork and not making a ton of eye contact with the Troopers. He could tell they were giving him the side-eye, okay, even through the helmets.
The Trooper Station was open! And so, so industrious today.
