Gladio had absolutely nothing but approval for when he came in that morning and saw the staff had put together a "What Lifts Together Stays Together" sign to advertise a special for the month of February on 'couples memberships.'

Of course, that was only going to lead to a discourse amongst the staff about what the parameters for being considered a 'couple' enough to get the discount, but it ultimately just boiled down to 'anything goes,' as proven by the raccoon who came in to get one along with what was literally just a piece of trash.

But, hey, man, who were they to judge? Gladio didn't think that piece of trash was likely to get a whole lot of use out of that membership, but you do you, little raccoon.

Atlas is open!

It was the day before Valentine's Day, so of course Summer was going to be rocking hearts on her workout gear when she came in after her cupcakes class, although hopefully not in a totally predictable way. Because there were a lot of obvious ways to go, especially with her color branding, but she was pretty sure she nailed this one, thanks.

And now to go and put even a quarter of her time and attention into doing the actual working out as she did the clothes she worked out in!

Nell came in and smiled at the sign. "So, do you think we should lift together?"

Gladio would have met Nell with a grin even without the comment, but that definitely meant it was getting an amused snort to go along with it.

"Definitely wouldn't hurt," he noted. "You'd have the best spotter in the whole place."

Nell grinned up at him. "I have the best everything in the place."

The broadening of Gladio's grin would tell her that there was going to be no argument there.

"Best masseuse, for sure," he said. "How're you feeling, by the way? Think you're up for another day in the trenches?"

"I'm feeling much better, but I'm sure I'll be needing another session with your magic hands after work tonight." She smiled up at him. "Ready or not, my day is going to be crazy. I'm seeing another trip to soak in the Onsen soon."

"Well, just let me know when," said Gladio, "and I'd be happy you keep you company, and, in the meantime, these magic hands are ready at your beck and call."

He lifted the hands on question with a wiggle of his fingers,a waggle of his eyebrows,and a bit of a snorted laugh.

"Just don't push yourself too hard in here today, alright? As much as I'd love an excuse to have to carry you just about anywhere, I'd like for it to be a better reason than exhaustion."

"But if that wasn't in my nature..." Nell said with a smile. "That first epic carry? What might have happened? Or not happened?"

Stark's Tuesday schedule kept leading to him missing Summer and her outfits. A tragedy.

He looked at the sign, shook his head a little, and headed for the weights to lift all alone! Unless Summer was having a very long workout today.
