Boy, if there was anything to make Prompto really glad for trusting his gut on skipping out on the school trip this semester, it was the pictures Gladio had sent him that morning to show off what had happened. Had it been some kind of weird paternal intuition? Or just dumb luck
Whatever it was, he was trying not to dwell on it too much....
...and failing pretty badly.
Good thing it was probably going go be quiet as usual today, as Prompto was pretty glued to his phone, texting back and forth a little with Gladio and asking how everyone was doing. Gladio said it looked way worse than it actually was, but Prompto knew Gladio didn't exactly have the best gauge for that kind of thing. He'd probably call Ignis later for a more reasonable assessment.
