Around the Island, Monday Morning
'Twas the week of Easter, and nature was rousing its chaotic little head. More specifically, something stirred between the petals of the sex pollen flowers in their hidden little glade. A small bunny, adorably streaked in brown and white, stuck its head out into the wide world and blinked against the light.
It was quickly followed by a second. And then a third.
They emerged from the flowers wearing skirts of delicate tulle, and with every step, they glittered and they glimmered. One looked at the other, and then back at the growing flock of its siblings.
A nose wriggled.
It began to run. From its skirts emerged yet more glitter, delicate little particles that drifted upon the wind and, as they began to reach the town, touched gently on the nostrils of a passing bartender.
Poor Tiny, sensitive as he was, turned red almost immediately. Oh no: it was sex pollen season again.
[[ and there we go! sex pollen bunnies will be seen running around town all week. ]]
