Did Steph want to be at work today? Absolutely not. Was she at work anyway? For the sake of the ace gaming group that had called to make sure the store would be open because some of their members would like to cope with this week through cathartic combat-mechanics-heavy roleplay, yes. She hadn't told them she was making a huge sacrifice for their sake, but wow, she'd come damn close.
At least it gave her a chance to finally put the finishing touches on her session plans for tomorrow night's game, for real this time?
The game lounge's code of conduct sign had a hand-scrawled addition taped to it:
Absolutely no sexytimes in the lounge!
* Not kinkshaming, we just don't want to have to sanitize the game library later.
Little Bot, helpfully, was rolling around with a couple of spray bottles of cold water in his servo claws.
