After avoiding working on the financial report for the last couple of weeks, Liz figured that she needed to finally get that started with how quickly the month was going by.

Even though it turned out that she had quite a bit of paperwork that had somehow managed to build up as well so she found herself going through and responding to emails rather than working on the financial report.

When he came down for the usual breakfast and baby-exchange before flitting off to class, Prompto was clearly looking very proud of himself with a little extra bounce in his step, as he went over to the counter to down both Noctra and the food and to hit Liz with a big grin.

"Babe," he announced, "just wait until you see how fancy these omelets are! They're pretty much perfect."

There had also been several attempts and redos and terrible disasters in the process that morning, but that was art, baby! You didn't show off your rough drafts, you just basked in the final product!

"How've things been down here?"

Liz returned that grin, taking a moment to coo softly at Noctra before looking at the omelettes, "oh wow," she said, her smile widening, "these look fantastic, thank you I can't wait to try these," she told him, "and its been another paperwork kind of day, I don't know where all these emails come from half the time," she admitted, "I was trying to work on the financial report but that doesn't seem to be happening yet, how has your morning been?"

"Oh, you know," Prompto shrugged a little, grin a little tilted, "lots of eggs."

So many eggs, Liz. He was so glad Noctra was still figuring out that talking thing or she might squeal on just how much it took to even get to those nice perfect omelets they'd get to enjoy today.

"But good. Pretty much set with class, helping Igs out with his again, but it's board games today, way less stressful than, you know, siege sims. And then....I don't know. Anything you want to do later today? After all that paperwork and email?"

Liz grinned, "sounds like it was an interesting morning," she said, "and I'm glad class will be less stressful, hope it goes well," she told him and then she tilted her head, "actually I hadn't thought about it either, maybe we could watch a movie?" she suggested.

"Like," said Prompto, with a little bit of a snort, his tone almost faintly unbelieving, but definitely hopeful, "an actual movie with real actors and not singing cartoons?"

Yes, Noctra, he was looking at you and bopping you on the nose with his finger somewhat pointedly.

Look, he loved magical princesses and animated dogs as much as anyone. Probably more than most! But a man needed a break sometimes!

"You know an actual movie with real actors and no singing cartoons does sound like a great afternoon," Liz said with a fond smile as she watched Prompto and Noctra, "I'm sure we could even find something that even Noctra could watch, if she can go a couple of hours without the singing cartoons,"

She wasn't sure that was possible but it was worth a try right?
