“Jeez man,” Dean complained to Tiny. “If you’re going to be a baby at least don’t cry in my booze. Don’t make this into a country song!”

"He's being ridiculous," Eric agreed with a roll of his eyes.

Dean took a swig of his drink and frowned.

"My whiskey tastes like tears," Dean said rolling his eyes. "Now I'm a country song. Jeez. Can I just pour my own?"

"Then can I give him a real reason to cry?" Dean asked, jabbing his thumb at Tiny.

"Yes," decided Eric, the Worst Boss.

Eric watched Tiny run into the back, blinking. "If he's calling Tino, I'm going to have to do something drastic," he said. "But at least he's not crying out here. You may pour yourself one--one--drink."

"I can live with that," Dean said picking out a pint glass from the other side of the bar. And starting to fill it with whiskey.

"In retrospect, I should have been prepared for this," Eric said.

"Hey, I could have grabbed a pitcher," Dean pointed out. "I can show some restraint."

"I appreciate it," Eric said. "It's not the really good whiskey, is it?"

"That stuff is too fancy for me," Dean said with a nod. "It's rot gut for me."

"In that case, enjoy a pint of our cheapest whiskey," Eric said.
