Pixie Dust; Thursday [05/16].
In general, Boc didn't pay much attention to the shoes they sold here at Pixie Dust. He himself had no interest in wearing shoes, honestly, and he was a seamster (well, perhaps a bit of a tailor now), not a cobbler. But every once in a while, as he was processing some shipments and putting things on the shelves and trying to arrange them all nicely, he'd come across a pair that just made him stop and gawk.
Sometimes, the gawking was for how ridiculous the shoes or boots or sneakers in question may have been. But in this instance, it was absolutely because the shoes he unpacked were truly things of beauty.
He admired the shoes for a good long while before hobbling his way up to the front of the store and the display window, where he started to set up a nice green theme, but at the very front and center of the display were going to be those lovely shoes.
Butterflies were much more pleasant than dragonflies, he felt, and he'd never seen green ones before and was already a big fan. And working on the display for a bit helped him to not think and flail over the fact that there was a good chance people might be coming in today.

"Good morning, Boc. I've come to pick up my things."

Although the other employees in the shop would greatly appreciate the money part, yes.
Sorting through some other potential green items to add to the window display, Boc at least didn't startled this time, though he did sort of take a moment to look up and blink from his distraction and then seemed to jolt himself back to the present moment in time.
"Oh, yes!" he said, gently setting down the skirts he was considering and then moving over toward the counter. "Of course, of course, just come with me, and I'll fetch the bag. I've got it right here for you, everything mended and sewn up and practically good as new again!"

"I brought a cupcake as well. I made some, the other day, and I thought you might like one?"

"Oh!" she gasped. "Those shoes are so pretty!"

And so Boc jumped, and dropped the other, less elaborate but still lovely shade of green shoe he was holding and began to throw his arms up over his head in protection when he realized it was only Arden. So he slowly relaxed into something more like embarrassment and focused on picking thr shoe back up.
"Aren't....aren't they just that?" he then asked. "They're just come in, and I figured, well, shoes like that, they're much too beautiful to just sit in the back of the shop, shoes like that are pretty enough for the world to see!"

"Oh, I brought you a tart," she added, remembering that she was, you know, holding something in her hands. "A fruit tart, like we talked about."

When she happened to catch sight of Boc through the window she gave him a cheerful wave.
