The Photo Hut; Tuesday [06/04[.

Even though there was a lot of really interesting crossover between things that existed here on Earth that were reminiscent if not exactly like things Prompto knew from home (more so now than ever, apparently!) and it had definitely been a hot topic for them recently, there were definitely some things that were way different. So when a box of interesting camera-like...binocular things? came in, he was initially pretty mystified but intrigued.

And, thankfully, it really only took a bit of googling to find out more, especially since he'd gotten pretty used to researching weird little tidbits about photography and film, and it didn't take him long to actually figure it out with a little relavatory "Oh!"

And then a chuckle before almost immediately setting out to give one a try for himself, which meant he'd have to pick out some pictures to put on it, and, well, that was definitely a task that would take all day....potentially the rest of the week! But it was definitely a fun way to save and view some photos, so he was really stoked about what he could do with these things now that he understood what they were all about.

These were definitely cool, and he was looking forward to displaying and promoting some, especially when it came around time for the gift-giving holidays!

And around lunchtime there was the usual visit from Liz and Noctra, "hi, how is everything going?" she asked with a smile as Noctra babbled excitedly in response, "are we interrupting?"

"Hi," said Prompto, looking up from where he was actually going through some of the more recent shots on his camera to maybe upload for his current project, meeting the two of them with a grin. He pushed back his chair a little and switched out his camera with the little view-finder thing, holding it up for Liz. "Look at what came in this morning, have you ever seen one of these things before?"

“Oh wow,” Liz said with a smile as she leaned in closer to have a look, Noctra looking curiously as well to see if it was a shiny new toy she could play with, “you know they do actually look quite familiar but I definitely haven’t seen one of these since I was a child,” she considered with a tilt of her head.

"Switch you?" Prompto offered, with a little bit of a chuckle, holding the viewfinder a little more toward Liz and giving a nod to Noctra to indicate that he'll take her off her hands if she wanted to look at the thing a little more. "Apparently, the whole point of these is that you send in your photos and they'll make you a custom roll of all your pictures. I've never seen one of these before today, but that sounds pretty cool, if you ask me!"

“I’d love to have a closer look,” Liz smiled, “I think the custom rolls are new, I think the older ones came with existing photos,” she told him.
