There were a few boxes of new stock that had arrived when Liz went downstairs, so she spent some of her morning unpacking and working on a display for the new lens that had arrived.

Once the new stock had been added to the inventory, it was back to checking the computer and working on her weekly admin tasks, which thankfully it seemed that there wasn’t much to work on today after how busy the last few weeks had been.

Leave it to Prompto to make soup during the summer, but you know what? They had AC. Soup was for all seasons! Especially delicious soups like this one. Well, at least he hoped Liz would find it delicious, because he was bringing it down for her, along with Noctra, who very clearly was a big help in the whole process by....sitting there and providing moral support and fascinating tales of pure and utter babble.

"Hi!" he greeted as he came down and went to set the food on the counter, and Noctra followed it up with a chain of "Hi, Hi, Hi"s. He swept in to add to that greeting a kiss. "Working hard? Or hardly working?"

HE COULD SAY THAT NOW, HE WAS A DAD.

Liz smiled as she greeted Noctra and then happily returned the kiss, then she giggled at that the last question, “well probably a bit of both,” she admitted, “it seems I actually managed to catch up on the paperwork,” she added, which she thought for a while had seemed like it would never end.
