Among the many things Boc appreciated greatly about this world was the fact that bugs were substantially smaller and less ~~annoying~~ deadly than the ones back in the Lands Between. And even though his exposure to cicadas so far had been few and far between, one had somehow managed to hitch a ride on the sleeve of one of the employees and had been wandering around the shop that day. Boc was utterly fascinated by the fellow and how he moved, and most importantly, on the intricate design on those little wings, and it didn't take long at all, being in the cicada's company, for him to feel quite a bit of inspiration.

By working on a cloak that mirrored the lovely designs. It would be quite the project, indeed, especially since he'd want to get it just right, which meant playing around with fabrics and stitching and the like a bit before everything really came together, but it would be a labor of love that he'd be happy to try and tackle.
