On the way to her internship this morning, Kamala had gone back to the manor to change and clean up after paintball. On her way out, she found a package from home sitting in the foyer.

After getting settled in at her desk, Kamala opened it up to find her mother had sent along a bunch of milk toffees and a bunch of her favorite baked goods.

Kamala took a moment to inhale the smells from home before diving in and sampling them.

Work could wait.

"Good morning, Kamala," Tony said like he hadn't blissfully made paintball into an actual minefield of paint.

"Good morning, Mr. Stark," Kamala said brightly. "I got a care package from home. Would you like some homemade Pinni Ladoo? Or a milk toffee?"

Tony paused at the offer of desserts because he was a weak, weak man for such things. "I wouldn't turn down a toffee," he said as to not take the homemade goods from his employee.

"Okay, just be warned they are hard as a rock," Kamala said, offering one of the toffees. "I practically cracked a tooth the first time I had one. But their my mother's favorites. Nice job on the mines today. I didn't see them coming at all."

"Well, it's to keep everyone from getting bored," Tony replied, carefully not biting the toffee. And not commenting that it tasted like a retirement home. "The last class will be a free-for-all with powers, just as a heads up."

Kamala blinked a few times in giddy joy. "So does that mean we get to see you in full armor? Will the Captain have his shield?"

She will be taken out in the first volley just from fangirling.

"Maybe."

Honestly they were all lucky to not have either Thors in the class.

They might be gods of lightning and thunder but they would also be bigger targets.

Even with a "Maybe" from Tony was enough for Kamala to start considering if Squirrels could record any of that paintball session or if they only took notes.

"Well, no hold barred sounds like a great exercise," Kamala said cheerfully. "I look forward to beating you Mr. Stark. As long as that's not going to be a career limited move."

"Oh please, it's a challenge that helps innovation!" He said this and then bemoaned the destroyed buildings from his team.

"Oh so this whole paint ball class is to evaluate our weaknesses and use it in case we go bad?"

Yes. Kamala was also a fan of Ratman.

"...no?" Oh no, had she gotten into his files? Surely not!

Kamala’s not that good with computers. Unless Tony is leaving his files at AO3.

“Surely nobody would ever fall into that trope!” Kamala said shaking her head. “Everyone here is too nice to do a heel turn.”
