The Devil's Nest, Wednesday Evening
Tiny was looking for something tonight. Octavia watched him for a good chunk of time as he went around looking behind bottles and into most nooks and crannies he could find.
Ultimately, she had to ask, "Why would we have decks of playing cards behind the bar?"
The Devil's Nest was open. There were no cards.
[ooc: Open! May be slow as I try to shake off the last of this damned summer flu.]

"... Suppose it could be worse," Lucifer said. "How's bar night otherwise?"

Tiny wry look.
"Like you said, could be worse."

"I think that depends on what you wanna order," she pointed out, "and how well equipped I am to make it."

Why?
Because his niron was a brat on her good days.

Something specific was going to occur to her in a second, but it hadn't yet.

"There is something, actually," she said, slower, with her head tilting just a fraction.
(No, it wasn't going to be anything dirty.)

Better.
"I know it was a while ago, but. Do you think it's still... available? For seeing?"

'The market', of course. 'Likely' was easy, and the way more important part, so really it was more of a weak joke.

"Still up for sale," he said. "And thus, still available for a tour."

Octavia tried her best to keep her tone light. It came out... a little hopeful, too.
"Doesn't have to be paid in advance."

His fingers moved across the phone screen rapidly, clearly typing up a message.
He sent it.
"Requested."

She'd get to his drink in a second.

Only then did some of the seriousness peel away from his face.

Sorry, Tiny, just keep looking for the cards further away.

Happily.
