It was always a dangerous thing when a shipment showed up specifically on Prompto's shift, because that meant that he was guaranteed to get distracted by whatever was inside, and this week? Was no exception. Because while they had plenty of great camera straps already in stock, they'd yet to stock anything quite like these extremely cool leather ones.

So guess who was spending most of his day (when not helping customers, of course) shifting through them all and trying to see which ones would fit his LOKTON.

"Come on," he murmured to himself as he dismissed yet another one. "You're gonna tell me we're getting Jetty's and Uncle Randell's and fish crackers from home now, and you can't even send me one leather case for my camera? Seriously, multiverse??"

It was lunchtime and as usual there was a visit from Liz and Noctra, "hi," she smiled as they arrived, Noctra babbled excitedly in greeting, "are we interrupting?"

From the disparingly withering look that Prompto sent to Liz from thr counter where he was surrounded discarded leather camera cases, if they were interrupting, it was very welcome.

It came with a sigh and shake of his head, but then came a soft smile. "Hi," he said, "Yes, but you're probably doing me a big favor by interrupting..."

Liz looked at the different straps on the counter, as Noctra also looked closely to see if it was something new she could play with, "is there anything I can do to help?"

Prompto chuckled a bit wryly. "Nah," he said, "this is a disaster of my own making. I wouldn't subject you to having to pick up after the mess I've made. But it is kind of..."

His eyes skittered over to Noctra for a moment.

"Bullcrap that I can find lenses, flashes, zooms, tripods, pretty much anything, to work with my LOKTON except these cool straps..."

He sighed.

"I might write an angry letter to the company."

Probably not, but in spirit, the letter was very scathing.

Ooh, maybe he should get Iggy's help in writing it....

Liz looked sympathetic at that as Noctra agreed that these straps were definitely cool and reached out to try and grab one from the counter but Liz quickly stepped back before she could reach it.

"I can keep having a look if you'd like, try and find a company that sells something similar that might work?" she suggested.
