Did the store really need a deep cleaning? No, Little Bot was too diligent for dust to ever become a real threat, and for the most part the regulars were great at cleaning up after themselves. Possibly because they didn't want to be shown up by the gremlins, but Steph wasn't complaining about that either way.
The store was getting a deep cleaning anyway, because Steph was feeling a bit at loose ends without the constant flurry of Pride planning that had taken over her last few weeks. If she didn't find ways to keep herself very busy and away from the computer she was going to start getting into arguments about TTRPG mechanics on the internet and nobody needed that.
