Pixie Dust; Thursday [07/04].
Boc woke up that morning and crawled out of his nest under the counter into a sea of red, white, and blue. Stars and stripes and spangles, almost as far as the eye could see (or, at least, as far as the distance from the counter to the walls. It felt a little limiting, and it made him think of the robes of the sorcerers of Raya Lucaria a little bit, but he supposed it wasn't the worst thing that the shop had provided for its patrons.
The most surprising thing, he felt, was that he actually found a few hats in his preferred style amongst the new merchandise, and he was frowning a bit as he turned it over in his hands and tried to figure out if the colors were a bit much, occasionally swapping out his usual cap with one of the new ones and trying to see how it looked in one of the mirrors.
The colors did distract nicely from too much attention on his terrible, ugly face, at least, but he wasn't sure if he wanted to attract that kind of distraction, either.
