Plant Parenthood; Thursday [07/11].
Last night's little karaoke party still held a sort of surreal feeling for Eleanor, even in the light of the next day. She might have been convinced that it was all another weird dream, except for the fact that her dreams tended to be pretty terrible, and last night had been the opposite of that. Mystifying and pretty unbelievable, if you asked her, but definitely the opposite of terrible.
Terrible would come later, when she was honest and open with Kamala about who and what she was, what she'd done, and why it was probably a better idea if she'd just forget about her. A part of her was tempted to just not say anything at all, to pretend maybe like she was normal (well, as far as normal went in this place), and carry on as long as she could without ruining it, but that didn't feel right. And since attempts to pull away and just distance herself weren't working well at all, that just left brutal honesty.
And as if to keep the illusion of a rare pleasant dream going for as long as she could, Eleanor was playing some light ethereal music today, she'd lit some candles for ambiance, and dipped into some dreamy poetry in the times when she wasn't helping a customer or taking care of this, that, or the other thing around the shop.
