The Photo Hut; Tuesday [07/30].

Things were pretty quiet and chill and typical at the Photo Hut that Tuesday. Prompto started with a little cleaning and dusting the shelves and organizing things before taking care of some old stock and some new stock. He checked some emails, and then spent a little bit of time working on one of his monster-megaparts-camera conglomerations, and then checked some more emails.

And then spent way too much time trying to figure out if this email he got was referring to photography or guns, and he was having a small revelation that he should have probably had much sooner in his life (and maybe he had already had it, but then forgot he had??) about the similarities between the two.

And then he spent way too much time trying to think if there was a good way to combine these dual loves of shooting....

Well, he didn't really love shooting a gun, but he did love the guns themselves. Guns were just neat, but he was definitely happier when not using one!

The Photo Hut is open!

And right on lunchtime there was a visit from Noctra and Liz, "hi," Liz smiled as Noctra happily babbled her greeting, "are we interrupting?"

"Hi," Prompto said, grinning up from the computer and pulling his chair back to offer up hands to take Noctra off Liz's for a bit. "You know I'll never complain being interrupted by my two favorite gals! And all you're interrupting is...." He tried to think of something clever, but came up blank, and laugh, "nothing, really. How was your morning?"

Liz smiled as she carefully handed Noctra over, "our morning hasn't been to bad, Noctra really enjoyed the cartoons she was watching this morning," she told him.

"Ooooh," said Prompto, giving Noctra an impressed sort of look as he settled her into his lap, "cartoons! Lucky duck, I wish I could've watched cartoons this morning instead of working!"

There was a pause, but then he grinned up at Liz. "Well, I guess I probably could have, it's not like we're exactly slammed in the store or anything."

Liz returned the grin, "that's true, we can always set up a small tv down here, maybe if we do have customers they can also watch something while they look through the store?"

"I think we'd have to have customers first," Prompto pointed out a little wryly, "before we start thinking of it they wanna watch TV while they're here. I sort of just meant on my phone or the computer."

“That’s true,” Liz admitted, “I’ve been trying to come up with ideas that could get us more customers but so far haven’t really had much luck,”

"Yeah," Prompto sighed a little, leaning forward so his chin rested on Noctra's head as she sat in his lap, and she tried to reach up to pat his face, "it's tricky. I try to promote it, but when everyone's got a camera in their pockets..."

“There’s not much need for a camera that we sell,” Liz agreed, “I think the main stock that does well are photo frames and the disposable cameras when there’s a trip,” she admitted.
