Turtle & Canary; Friday [08/02].
Prompto was pretty skeptical when it came to a lot of the random holidays that Apu was always trying to celebrate, but today was one he could definitely get down with. Because today was National Coloring Book Day (one free with every purchase!!), and he was going to color the shit out of some of those books!
And show off his work proudly to Apu and the cheese panda, if only because it gave him an excuse to segue into talking about how much coloring he did with his daughter and what a great artist she was. Sure, she couldn't stay inside the lines if her life depended on it, probably, but you know what? That just showed what an independent spirit she was, that couldn't be constrained by societal expectations!
Prompto, it should be noted, was almost studiously staying inside the lines, sometimes crouched over the book and his crayons at the counter with his tongue sticking out of the corner of his mouth in concentration.
