The weekend had passed Bucky by without incident. Granted, that was probably because he hadn't even been on the island for it, but still. Good thing. Especially considering the last time one of those weekends had rolled through town, he'd bolted his way all the way to Europe to not be found for over two years, so...

Yeah.

He was back now, though, from his much shorter off-island trip to see Steve and to remotely talk over some stuff with the Wakandans. He'd planned to just go straight home (or at least to MCA), but, well, he was still trying to give this normal humaning thing his best effort. Might as well drop by the coffee place and eat a little something while he was at it.

Someone from the staff carried his coffee and bagel to a table for him. He probably could have made it work on his own, but it was still... nice. Accepting the help.

Then he took a seat. Attempted to remember how humaning by himself at a coffee place was supposed to work.

... And got his phone out to only barely watch some Olympics coverage on it.
