Wanda was at the age where tracking hurricanes (or ex-hurricanes, sorry, Debby) was kind of fun, so she was kind of thrown off when she went to check when it was supposed to hit their area...and found that her weather app showed a whole different state. Huh. Well that was weird.

Well, fine, dash her amateur meteorologist dreams.

Steve came into the shop with a grin. "I learned about Tupperware parties today!"

Steve's mundane supervillain story would definitely involve a MLM pyramid scheme.

Wanda lifted her eyebrows. "I think those are a little before my time but I vaguely recall the words being put together. Are you, like, celebrating food storage?"

"Sort of," Steve said. "It was more like convincing other people to buy food storage by bribing them with snacks?"

"Ohhh. Like Avon," she said with a nod. "Are you going to a Tupperware party?"

Steve nodded. "We practiced hosting one."

Tony would never allow this.

"I mean, I guess there's a market for Avengers-themed Tupperware." There was Avengers-themed everything, she noticed.

"Maybe I can add a Jello recipe to mine!" Steve said earnestly.

[scarlet_chaos]

"Oooh that's good," Wanda joked. "But, like, good Jello. Not the weird Jello with mayonnaise in it."

"Have you tried the weird Jello with mayonnaise in it?" Steve asked with a grin. "It's not so bad!"

Don't trust the tastebuds of the Great Depression, Wanda.

"Oh god, no," Wanda said, wrinkling up her nose. "I try to forget mayonnaise exists in general."

Don't even get her started on nasty Miracle Whip.

Miracle Whip was a war crime.

"Even on turkey sandwiches?" Steve asked.

"I'll eat it, but I have to pretend it's not there." Normal things people did.

"I'll accept it," Steve said teasingly. "How have you been?"

"Okay for the most part," she said with a shrug. "This summer has been, like, horrifically hot. My hair hasn't been right since May."

Steve laughed. "Don't mention it to Tony or he'll build a swimming pool in the basement."
