Around town (aka Chicago)- Wednesday early morning

Today the island was getting its kicks with a move to Chicago and the start of Route 66. Skyscrapers loomed over the causeway side of the island, and taking that into the surrounding area would put you in the middle of a bustling downtown. Maybe you'd like to see the lake from a boat or a beach? Or some iconic landmarks? The museums are good! Or take in 360 views and try and see your house from here? Because you can see your house from here.

Speaking of, buildings in Fandom had taken on the look of old Chicago style architecture. There were some new businesses around town, like restaurants selling deep dish pizza or Italian beef. (There are healthy options but let's be real. Clog your arteries as god intended.) The guy running the hot dog cart was definitely judging what you put on yours. And of course, surely you could find somewhere selling a Chicago Handshake. Also the pond was green. Like, really green. Don't worry, the dye's safe! They say!

It was 78 and sunny. Really the perfect summer day in the best summer city fight me.
