Vi had taken advantage of the fact a bunch of new food places had sprung up overnight to grab some interesting sounding things to try on her break, and so, after she'd gotten the store set up and the displays switched out, and the minis arranged, she leaned back and took a deep pull from her smoothie.

Only for her mouth to fill with an incredibly foul and bitter taste, and it was only fact that she'd had to consume some truly horrific things to survive over the years that kept her from spraying her mouthful over the counter.

And that was how Vi discovered the lie that was stevia sweetener...
