Rey's warehouse- Friday

Rey had intended to practice with the remotes today, but hadn't found any of the supplies in the usual storage space. Or any storage space. She knew she hadn't moved them, but now she was driving herself a little crazy trying to find them. She was even trying to sense them, or sense the presence of who may have had them last, but she was coming up with nothing.

The woodchucks denied any wrongdoing. Which would have made her feel better if they had. Instead she was stuck tearing the warehouse apart looking for them because she knew they were here.

"Rey?" Anakin called, coming into the warehouse and jumping over the quicksand.

"Hi. Did you move the remotes?"

Please have moved them. She was getting nothing done today.

"I didn't," Anakin said. "Why?"

"I can't find any of it anywhere," she said, looking around while standing still like she'd see it in the most obvious place she had checked three times.

"Did the woodchucks take them?" Anakin asked.

[thatwaslucky]

"They say no, but I have no idea what else may have happened," she said. "I can't get a sense of anything."

[sith_happened]

"That's very odd," Anakin muttered, closing his eyes and reaching into the Force. "Where have they gone?"

"It's possible it's a Fandom thing but I was going to use the remotes so it's driving me mad," she admitted.

Anakin smiled sympathetically. "Sorry."

[thatwaslucky]

"I'm going to have to figure something else out," she said.

And then go back and look again because seriously where tf was everything?

"But it's irritating," Anakin said, "especially if you had plans already."

[thatwaslucky]

"I can adapt. But it's annoying," she said, frowning. "I'm not sure it works if I hold up objects I'm fighting."

"I can hold them up," Anakin offered.

[thatwaslucky]

"That'll work," she said. "As long as you don't go easy on me."

LOL.

Anakin snorted. "Have I ever gone easy?" he asked.

[thatwaslucky]

Rey shrugged. "No, but just in case?"

Anakin laughed. "What shall I throw at you instead?" Don't let him choose. He'd throw anything.

"Your choice."

She knew what she was saying.

"Just don't throw a woodchuck."

How did she know that was going to be his first choice?

"You take away the fun," Anakin teased.

[thatwaslucky]

"Imagine how they'd be next week," she pointed out.

[sith_happened]

"Further away, if we throw them correctly."

Anakin.

[thatwaslucky]

"Master Skywalker."

[sith_happened]

"I could throw them very far," Anakin said, grinning. "I won't. But I could."

[thatwaslucky]

And there was a woodchuck quietly scurrying away. Very far.

"Think inanimate," she suggested.

Smarter than a good chunk of sentient beings who'd tangled with Anakin, honestly.

"Rocks?"
