The park- Tuesday morning

Rey was back from her trip home, and was both looking to get back to her routine and to get away from animals for a bit. Training was being moved to the park today, where she could kind of relax while doing lightsaber drills outdoors, in the time they had before she started complaining about cold weather. (Aka five degrees cooler.)

She'd forgotten about the flamingoes. Whatever, they wouldn't throw things at her.

[Listen, if you wanna distract me from the 400+ emails I still have to deal with after vacation, I'd be appreciative.]

"Rey!" Anakin--decidedly not a cat--called out, waving.

Rey lowered the lightsaber, thumbing it off. "So this is where you went," she greeted him.

"I had an adventure," Anakin agreed.

"And how did that go?" she asked. He was in one piece, so...

"It went much better after I found pants and a cloak," Anakin said wryly.

"Yeah," she acknowledged, "I can see where that would help..."

"I don't enjoy waking up by myself and completely naked," Anakin said.

And thank you for that mental image, Anakin.

The face Rey made reflected the narrative, actually!

"I don't even know where you were," she said. "The boys have clothes on the Falcon."

"I was stuck in a supply closet," Anakin admitted.

Rey tilted her head at him. Just... letting that sit for a second.

"I was a cat," Anakin added. "I was not making good choices."

"Apparently not," Rey agreed. "But you got back okay?"

"More or less," Anakin said, smiling.

"Do I want to ask for more information?" Rey checked.

"If anyone asks you about a new banthabell sensation, it's not me," Anakin said quickly.

Rey, she who had spent most of her life incredibly sheltered and was still missing a lot of information on things, had to ask, "What's a banthabell?"

"A musical instrument," Anakin said. "It goes around bantha necks so you can find them when they wander off into the desert."

"I've decided not to ask a follow up question," Rey said slowly.

"That's probably for the best," Anakin admitted. "It was a strange few days until I got back to the portal."

"Days?" she repeated, eyebrows raised.
