The Devil's Nest, Monday Night

Eric came into the bar tonight to find Tiny in a black body suit and a jack-o-latern on his head, dancing. "It's not October until tomorrow," he said, sounding deeply tired.

The Devil's Nest was open. The bartender was jazzed about spooky seaoson. The vampire was drinking bourbon and trying to avoid making eye contact with whatever it was Tiny was doing now.

"You should be," Eric agreed. "I'm a gift."

"I mean, you're okay," she teased.

Eric laughed. "Only okay. I have Yelp reviews that say otherwise."

"That's a new one," Jaina said, clearly not believing it, because Yelp?

"I can pull them up if you'd like," Eric said, reaching for his phone.

Jaina pushed herself closer to the bar to see. "Wait, you're serious? If you google your name, does Yelp come up?"

"If you google the bar, I'm one of the perks," Eric said with a smirk.

"And a reason not to be bored," she quipped. "I need to read these."

"Feel free to leave one too," Eric said.

"We were together for like a year, they will not get my experience," she scoffed. "I will however create an account to say those reviews are helpful."

Eric grinned toothily at her. "I appreciate your help."

"I'm always here to help," sge said.

"That's why I love having you around," Eric said.

"I'm going to get better about it, I swear," she said. "Not sure how yet. But."

Eric's smile turned more sincere. "I look forward to that."
