Waffle House- Friday evening
Rey was leaving the warehouse, taking the long way back home, when she saw the golden glow of the Waffle House sign. There it was, in all its calorific, artery-clogging glory. A beacon.
She did get out her phone to send some people a text just saying It's back! She assumed they'd know what she meant.
[WE DESERVE IT. Open if you think you got a text, wander by, feel it calling to you...]

"Damn," she said, looking around the place and shaking off a brief flashback to the Two Whales back in Arcadia Bay. "I can feel my blood vessels hardening already."
Not that it stopped her from taking a seat at the counter.

And his favorite person was here, and other people he was quite fond of. This was definitely the place to be tonight.

Seriously, the Waffle House's timing was usually terrible, as far as she was concerned.

And there was a good chance she was going to be eating a lot of it, because someone came prepared by pre-gaming. Ahem.

There was a generally rude gesture to the building as a whole before she brightly turned back to Steph and ask, "So how've you been? It's good to see you!"

But it was possible summer workshop material!
She contemplated a couple of menu options, humming to herself.
"Go us, both lucking out on it this time, right?"

who had possibly come in with her but didn't want to assume, took a deep breath of greasy air and sighed contentedly."I'm glad it's here again. And you can have hashbrowns." Or waffles. Or both.

There was a faint smirk on her face and a lift of her eyebrow at Stark's little Waffle House Moment of Zen.
"You know you can have hashbrowns pretty much anywhere else, too, right?" she checked.

Maybe somewhere when you kept traveling, you weirdo?

Look, Stark was sometimes a simple man who just wanted some fried potatoes.

If he ever got on good terms with Ignis again maybe he could eat some gourmet hashbrowns... but that didn't seem likely.
"How are you, Rey?"

He loved you, disappearing and reappearing Waffle House. Why did you always have to leave him?

Hash browns, his one true love. Except for pizza, of course. And whoever that guy had been that he vaguely remembered from that one weekend when everybody was from the future.

He might know immediately! He might need very serious debate time.
