There was a kid behind the counter today, which was probably the only reason Sabine had been allowed to get this much ice cream. She had a banana split dish that was overflowing with scoops of flavors she'd chose based on which colors she'd liked best. Which, now that she was eating it, was maybe not the best idea. Blue bubblegum and cotton candy went together okay, but they did not mix well with mint chocolate chip or rainbow sherbet, and none of them tasted good with chocolate, which she'd gotten because it was chocolate and she had to.

She was eating it anyway, because ice cream. But she was occasionally making "ew" faces as she did.
