Thor's plans for the day had been somewhat stymied by the lack of functional knives on the island, but it was fine. He had merely had to rearrange his plans for tomorrow somewhat, and apologize to Don for having to do so.
Now he was keeping a close eye on Tiny, since his current architectural endeavors seemed to involve candy canes and if they suddenly turned back into knives, that seemed likely to end poorly.

Thank gods for portals, the danger shop, and necromancy to help him keep that particular itch scratched.

"What sort of game do you hunt at home?"

"Behemoths," he answered, a big wistfully, but eagerly, thinking of all the hunts he'd been on and how many more there still were ahead of him. "Garula. Bulettes. Daggerquills and dualhorns. Seadevils, saberclaws, voretooths....man." He shook his head, chuckling. "I could go on...but Eosian beasts really are a different breed. But, hey, now that the portals open again, maybe I can take you sometime and you can see what I mean first hand."

"Oh, man," Gladio's grin grew even more as he shook his head with his own stirring of nostalgia, "that just makes me think of the midgardsormrs we've taken down. They're real nasty pieces of work, but pretty satisfying once you get 'em down.
"Around here," he laughed a little, "it's mostly just been deer at my girlfriend's place, but she only lets me go for one or two at a time," and he felt kind of bad doing more than that, anyway, they were so gentle and just minded their own business, "and whatever shows up on the island on occasion, but I'm not sure you can really count those as regular hunting.
