Furnado Animal Shelter; Wednesday [01/01].
Prompto had made his New Years a nice quiet one in with his wife and daughter and their cat, where they could very easily make a big deal out of ringing in the New Year not on the schedule of time in general, but on the very particular schedule of a near-two-year-old who didn't really have a concept of time and they could all go to bed at an actual reasonable hour.
That still didn't stop Prompto from yawning a little as he came into the shelter that day to take care of some things and get everything in order and share holiday stories with the vet and then set to the task of setting resolutions for some of the animals.
He didn't expect any of them to follow them, but he did inform them that if they did work through these goals (stop playing so roughly with the other dogs, stop scratching things that aren't scratch posts, stop turning over the plastic castle in the fish tank, etc, etc, etc), then there would be treats. So it would be interesting to see how that all went.
