The Photo Hut - Thursday

It had been really nice celebrating the holidays with her family and Liz had enjoyed the past week off. She still had some work left that she had to finish off from the end of the year but once those reports were finished, she was focused on setting up the new spreadsheets and reports for the new month. There was quite a bit of work that she had to do so it was keeping her quite busy through the morning.

When Liz reached over for that hug, Noctra was more than eager to throw her arms around her neck and give her a big kiss and then said a bunch of things that probably even the most expert linguistic scientists couldn't have deciphered. But luckily Prompto thought he had a pretty good idea of what she was going for in all that excited babble, and, if not, well, it was a way of offering his own explanation as he set the food down on the counter.

"We each made our own mini pizzas," he clarified, "and so she picked out your toppings for you. And you owe me one." He winked at Liz and swept in for his own quick kiss. "Yours was almost chocolate chip and gummy bear pizza."

And Noctra let out a big, put-upon sigh. "Dadda said no!" she pouted.

Liz might find that a few gummy bears had made it onto the pepperoni and mushroom one she did get anyway, when Prompto wasn't looking.

Liz smiled fondly as she gazed from Noctra to Prompto, “I’m really looking for actor trying them,” she said, “just what I needed after a busy morning,”

"A lot of catch-up work from all the time off?" Prompto asked, sympathy in his voice as he reached down to pick Noctra up and set her on the counter so she could be closer to the food, too. "Anything I can help with?"

Liz nodded, “it’s not too bad but there was a lot of report writing,” she told him, “and that’s okay, just being able to have lunch with you and Noctra definitely helps,” she smiled.
