The Perk; Monday Afternoon

Harley's holidays had been chaotic in the best way, and also completely off the island.

So naturally it was mid-January by the time she rolled back into town and (almost) directly to the Perk, sporting giant sunglasses and an even bigger grin.

"Hi! Whaddaya got in an extra large? I'll take two!"

Business as usual!

After training Rey would sometimes stop off at the Perk- was caffeine becoming an addiction? TBD.- and thus she ended up the customer right after Harley.

"How much is even in an extra large?" she asked.

"I don't know!" Harley declared excitedly, turning around, and yup, that big gleeful grin was going nowhere. "I'm findin' out!"

She paused to consider her order.

"Twice."

"I wish you the best of luck," Rey told her, sounding amused. "How have you been?"

"Oh, just peachy!" Harley said. "Yanno, the usual, had a real good time out on the mainland with my associate for the holidays."

Crime. So much crime.

"And now I'm back and ready to see what's going on on this charming little rinky dink rock again!"

"The good news is you haven't missed much," Rey told her. "I think the island's still getting back to normal after the holidays."

Making it was too quiet for her.

"So it's been boring?" Harley checked. "Good, I'd hate to miss something interesting, God, that would be the worst."

"We haven't even had an invasion or anything, you're still good," Rey assured her.
