Cold and dark was Eric's native habitat, and so he'd brought that into the club today. The heat had been turned off to allow the bar he'd constructed entirely from ice to not melt immediately.

Tiny, behind said bar and wearing three hats, looked decidedly unhappy about the new change in theme.

Eric, drinking very cold vodka, did not care.

The Devil's Nest was open! Be careful on the slippery floor.

Don paused just inside the bar and evaluated the conditions, especially of the floor, then said, "Huh," before approaching the bar proper. Good thing he wore shoes with a good tread and always carried his walking stick. "I wonder if it'll still be like this on Thursday."

"It will if no one adjusts the thermostat," Eric said.

Don cut a side eye toward Tiny, who looked like a likely suspect for messing with the thermostat. "It's kind of cool." A beat. "Lame pun not intentional."

"I'm thinking of running with a Hell Froze Over theme," Eric said, "if someone doesn't thwart my vision."

Or several someones.

"I'm sure no one would do that," Don said like he wasn't fully aware this bar had been completely redecorated multiple times in the same week before. And like Tiny wasn't over there planning to sneak off and find the thermostat.

"Not unless they want to start an escalating series of problems," Eric said. "Again."
