Atlas Gym; Tuesday [01/14].

It was that time of year again. That inexplicable rush of randos getting gym memberships for their New Years resolutions, so the gym was incredibly busy this week. But Gladio knew those numbers would start dwindling dramatically once they reached February. And he was a little bit of two minds about the whole thing. Obviously, the more people working out and getting healthier, the better. But some of these wayfair workouters were just kind of obnoxious.

So there were extra signs reminding people of gym etiquette and rules (not that many of them would read them) and he had to tell several people it was best to just leave the gremlins alone, and he had to kick one guy out already for taking out his frustration in the Cup Noodle^TM claw machine.

And you know that wasn't going to fly around here!

And one of those new members, it turned out, was Stewart, although unlike these sweating, grunting cretins and Instagram posers, he did intend to stick with it. At least, he was going to try. In addition to Katy and Wayne's vote of confidence in him fumbling around for some new direction in life, reconnecting with Ally-cat and Bianca-donk over New Years had reminded him of some of the...benefits of staying fit. Not to mention all those whispers of a potential Gae Reawakening...

And so there he was after his class, glowering and occasionally hissing at passersby in between reps and rips, in pants way too tight for what this weird little skid freak was actually packing.

Nell being Nell, she actually stopped and read the signs and nodded to herself after making sure there was nothing new on them.

Then she was off to work on some of her martial arts/warrior women workouts.

Well, okay, that was just about one of the cutest and nerdiest things Gladio had ever witnessed, and he knew a lot of cute nerds.

It took him a moment to realize what Nell was actually doing, but once he did, he snorted faintly and slipped back into his office to take a few moments to think about it, and, soon after that, he'd printed off another sign, and went to post it up nearby where Nell was working, giving her a nod and a smirk after smoothing it into place and returning to the office.

The text was incredibly small so it couldn't be read until she went up to see it:

You are adorable and the best thing to ever walk into this gym.

Nell watched him put the sign up as she continued her forms, but stopped after the nod and smirk and went over to see it.

She read the sign carefully, then blushed as she got to the second section of the sign. After reading the rest she laughed, then carefully took the sign down, folded it neatly and stuck it with her things to bring home.
