The Magpie Emporium; Friday [01/24].
You know what Graham's favorite thing about the new Braille dice was?
The fact that he didn't have any, so it was a good excuse to buy some because it wasn't like anyone could make the excuse that he didn't need them because he had plenty of dice already!
(Just kidding, he would never let something like that stop him from buying more dice ever).
And, of course, there was only one person he knew that would directly benefit from having a set of dice like this, so there he was, occasionally dreaming up a campaign that revolved almost entirely around food....and getting very hungry as a result.

"I've come for cards," she announced when she entered the shop. "Have you found anything promising yet?"

Someone had gotten distracted, thinking not so much of a food-based tabletop campaign anymore, but instead had moved onto what might make good food-based dice.
Graham felt that rolling a nat 20 would be an instant invitation to eat said dice, so you'd want something you could make a lot out of. Maybe he should ask Raiden about making potato dice in class sometime...
"Oh!"
Thoughts of math tubers flitted from his head as Belle came in. Yes, he'd been mostly expecting her, but it was still so nice to see her come in. "Hi, Belle! And, yeah, there's definitely a lot of promising ones! The real tricky part is now narrowing it down! I guess it all boils down to what kind of cards you're looking for: something more traditional parlor card games, or something that really branches out from that. Also, how was your day? Do you have any classes on Friday? Have you had lunch? Have you seen the new Braille dice??"

Had she answered all the questions? She hoped so.

He held out the set that he'd absolutely already purchased for himself, but it was okay, he had a discount!
"See? They have little bumps on them instead of numbers, it's called Braille, which is a type of writing for people who need it. I don't need it, but I love that it exist for people who do, and, I mean, come on, who doesn't just love more dice?"

unless she'd forgotten somethingas she picked up one of the dice and rolled it between her fingers."That's so clever! I knew there were books like that but I wouldn't even have thought of dice! And we should absolutely have snacks or lunch or both. It just would not do to be hungry while playing."

What did matter, however...
"We are definitely getting you some dice before you leave here!" he decided. "There's so many great ones! Even if you don't use them or play often, they're so nice to have! But we'll worry about that later! Food first, then games, then dice! What should we get? Probably something easy to eat, because we don't want to messy up our hands if we're playing with cards!"

yeah IBelle didn't recall having her own dice either. She'd only made guest appearances after all."The dice are quite pretty," Belle said. "I'll have to look closely. But yes, food first! Nothing too messy but nothing too complicated to eat either. Sandwiches of some sort?"
