Eleanor's main plan today, other than her usual tasks around the store, was to do a little bit of research inspired by one of her classes yesterday, in looking into how different kinds of water can affect plant growth and if different kinds of water (for example, something made from salty ocean water compared to purified or swamp water) could alter a potion or a tincture in any significant way. Finding information on the latter was difficult, but when she did find something, it was pretty rewarding and fascinating and she had lots of new ideas to try for her own work.

That is, when she wasn't getting distracted and dreamily thinking about one of her other classes yesterday, and, no, it was definitely not the one with the ice skating!

That one particular class might have had Kamala drooling in her sleep, which was definitely less attractive than ice skating.

"Hey, babe!" Kamala called out as she stepped into the store. She was bundled up from head to toe in winter gear, her face completely wrapped in a scarf In her gloved hands were two cups of Peppermint Mocha.

"I brought you hot drinks!" she added cheerfully, hoping they were still warm after her trek from the Perk.

But the ice skating also involved frozen snot, so at least drooling in one's sleep had more of an adorable factor.

Not even remotely as adorable as having a babe thrown her way, which only added to the faint blush that had already been building thanks to Eleanor's wandering mind, but she was clearly pleased for the interruption to all the research she was absolutely not getting done right now anyway.

"I like hot drinks," she said, smiling, and ignoring the small part of her that wanted to point out that she had hot drinks here already. Especially when the tea she made had definitely already gone cold. She got up and went to meet Kamala, to take one of those drinks off her hands with a kiss. "Thank you. Do the hot drinks come with company, too?"

"Well, if you'd like company that's certainly a service that we here at Kamala industries are happy to provide," she teased. "As is hand holding, general snuggling and the kissing service that you have already partaken of."

"Those all sound like pretty premium services," said Eleanor, once she managed to actually maintain a straight face, which had been a very close battle. In fact, some of the smirk she'd tried to control managed to slip out past enemy lines anyway. "What if I can't afford it? Do you offer any discounts?"

A moment later, she seemed to realize an even better question: "Do you accept Squishies in exchange for these goods and services?"

“Lucky for you, these services are all pro bono for select individuals,” Kamala informed her in her best business tone. “Actually it just one individual and no one else. Kamala Industries has a horrible business plan but it is fun to work there.”

Yes, Eleanor. Kamala saw the weakness in that smirk and was doing a full out assault to release some laughter.
