Devil's Nest, Monday Night

Eric supposed that word would spread about the ice bar and the luge Lucifer had added, but somehow he still hadn't predicted a bachelor party of loud, felt penguins in the club on a Monday night.

Tiny, by his expression, was absolutely unsurprised. Just...over it.

The Devil's Nest was open. Watch out for the Muppet penguins.

Much like Tiny, Octavia didn't say "... Really," in a dry tone when she came in.

But her face said it for her.

"I didn't invite them," Eric said, drinking his vodka.

Octavia pointed to the ice bar. "You did, though."

Granted, it remained a hunch she had, but since Lucifer had been in the Bahamas for the first go-round...

"You know this is a huge waste of water, right?"

"Probably," Eric said, "but I brought--" Tiny brought, "--the snow from outside."

Octavia raised her eyebrows, just a bit.

"Well, that sounds like a different cause for concern."

(Just one she did maybe not care about as much.)

"It's being sustainable," Eric said airily. "I'm being modern."

"There's better ways for a bar to be sustainable," Octavia pointed out, "than bringing snow into the club."

Yes, she'd read up on it.

No, the knowledge hadn't actually been necessary for her to be able to make this particular call.
