Luke's Diner; Tuesday [01/28].
It was, allegedly, Blueberry Pancake Day, according to Greg, who had clearly, worryingly, been hanging out with Apu these days. As such, he insisted, in the form of constant pestering, that Ignis include them on the Specials board today.
But of course Ignis was going to give the recipeh his own touches and take it just a little bit beyond just that.
He felt it was an....acceptable compromise to just generally preferring to just ignore Greg in the regard.
Today's Specials
Lemon Ricotta Blueberry Pancakes
Wild Rice Veggie Burger with Herbed Ricotta
Pizelle Cannoli with Ricotta Filling
"Hey, wait a minute!" Greg realized as he got around to writing that last one on the board, and Ignis just grinned into his coffee.
Luke's is open!

But she was hardly going to let a little tiredness make her miss lunch at Luke's. Perish the thought! (And then reanimate it and turn it to your own devices, obviously).
"Hello my darling," Liliana greeted, hand reaching for his to lace their fingers together as they had for months in lieu of a more intimate greeting. Lucky him, though, as he was also getting a kiss. "Missed me?"
Liliana, it had been only a few hours, god.

Ignis' fingers settled between Liliana's with comfortable ease as he met her for that fortuitous kiss. "Always," he said, because any other answer would be nearly as much cause for concern as a greeting without that kiss would have been, and it was, of course, followed with that ever-important and ever-pressing question: "Are you hungry, my love?"

"Always," she returned, because that was the next step in their constant dance, and fumbling that step would be as concerning as missing the one before it. "And depending upon you to assuage those hungers with your customary skill, efficiency, and zeal, my darling."

The softer, more reserved greeting already had his mind drifting back to the k kitchen, where a plan a had already been laid out, naturally, waiting to find out what adjustments might need to be made to suit the sway of her whims.

"Impossible," he assured her. "On the contrary, you are all too often the very same deep well from which that inspiration flows. Give me just a moment? I'll meet you at our table, and have Ali bring you some tea in the meantime."

And how could that do anything but turn into a kiss?

Wrapping her arms around him, she kissed him long and slow, letting him support her as she just leaned against him, even after the kiss did break, shattered by their regrettable oxygen requirements long before either of them were remotely ready to let go. "Perhaps I should start messaging you to let you know I am on my way," she mused. "Considering how my appetite wars with my desire to keep you with me."
