This week, the movie theater was decked out in brilliant reds and pinks, with rose and love heart motifs all over just about every last goddamn thing. Bucky had expected it, after Friday's talk with Ingrid, but it was still... a lot, to actually come face to face with.

Would anyone blame him if he just hid out in the back office all day? Anyone except Ingrid, that was? She'd already alluded to him being a coward when he'd suggested she didn't actually need him around for anything today and that maybe he should get back to his place.

(And his cold showers, he hadn't added. Out loud.)

But fine. He'd stick around for a bit. He'd experienced much worse, anyway.
