The Photo Hut - Thursday

Liz was feeling well enough to try and get most of her final end of month reports done for the month, as well as focusing on getting the start of April’s spreadsheets started as well so there would be less to do next week. She wasn’t planning on staying downstairs for very long that morning so she was trying to get as much of the work done as she could while she had the chance.

Prompto had been a little worried about his ability to sort of explain a lot of what was going to be going on with Liz to Noctra, but he had actually found that a good way to get into was with their weekly Thursday lunch making sessions! He explained to her that he wanted to look up some foods that were going to be extra nutritious for her right now because that was going to be super important. So they looed up some stuff together and worked together to pick out something to throw together.

This week's winner was a soup, and once it was ready, they brought it down. Even if Liz wasn't really planning on staying down in the store all day, maybe the lunch break would give her a little extra boost before she called it quits.

"Hey, babe," he greeted her, leaning in to give her a kiss. "Ready for a little lunch break?"

"We made extra for you, toooooo!" Noctra shouted, proudly and eagerly, and Prompto had to chuckle a little.

Honestly, it smelled so good that he kind of wished they'd made extra for him, as well!

Liz smiled fondly as she turned from the computer to look at Prompto and Noctra, “I’m definitely ready for a lunch break,” she told him, “it smells so good, I’ll definitely be having the extra thank you,” she smiled.

Prompto set down the food and then lifted Noctra with a grunt that wasn't nearly as performative as he'd like to say it was to join them, and Noctra was squinting and peering at Liz suspiciously with all the new information she'd gotten.

She then gave Prompto a skeptical look, like she was pretty sure he'd been pulling her leg about this whole 'new siblings currently growing inside of her' story.

Prompto just met that with a 'you just wait and see' look before going to take out the containers he'd put together.

"Good," he said. "Lots of good stuff in there. Healthy website approved." He chuckled a little, shaking his head, and honestly feeling pretty thrilled to be doing this whole dance again, and from the start this time, too.

"How's it been down here this morning?"

Liz smiled at that, "thank you," she said fondly, "I'm looking forward to having it," she told them, "and it hasn't been too bad down here this morning," she said, "I managed to finish both the end of month paperwork and get a start on next month's, I figured at least that way I'm slightly ahead with the paperwork," she added.
