Luke's Diner; Tuesday [04/29].
It really did feel good to be back, to have some sense of normalcy and a return to routine. Granted, there was a good deal still on Ignis' mind...and now that he'd been honest with Liliana about his side quest for vampirism, he had a lot of work to do. If anything, the threat to Innistrad had really shown him that he'd best narrow in his focus and concentrate on accomplishing his task well before there was another opportunity for his plans to be put in jeopardy again.
But now, Innistrad was in a place of healing, just as he and Liliana were, after everything with Emrakul. If he wanted to make progress, he couldn't have asked for a better time to step in and make himself known to those who might one day be the progenitors of his immortality.
He was, oddly enough, in no rush to get started on that, though, even if he knew that the best time to strike was while the iron was hot. Or, in this case, before it cooled down. But he might need a bit more of a break from Innistrad before he truly got started on all of that.
And then there was Gladio and Prompto, and talking to them about it, as well. This weekend. On their camping trip. So he had that to worry about first.
One step at a time, really. And right now, the steps needing to be taken involved whipping up a specials board, and rather hoping his current preoccupations hadn't been too obvious in its selections.
....he had most certainly failed.

But Liliana was always so adept at stirring up a multitude of hungers in him that, really, did he think he had anything to worry about? His growling "Always" came riding in on a groan, and then wasted no time in reclaiming her lips again to prove just how voracious that appetite was.

"Good," she whispered when the kiss finally broke, her violet eyes gleaming. It turned out their thoughts were not too terribly dissimilar as she told him, "You may live to satiate my hungers, but I live to stoke yours."

"How fortunate," he murmured into her ear, "that we should both excel so fervently in both those fields."

"Not unlike the give and take of any good dance," she agreed with a crooked grin. A nail slid down his throat to the hollow at the base of it, then over every button of his shirt. A reminder, perhaps, of how easily she could tear them off, one by one, if she'd had a mind to.

And while Ignis could have been potentially fussed about having to mend any of those buttons later, he instead just grinned. What was just a few buttons, anyway?
"Speaking of taking," he said, "I presume we'll be taking our lunch to go this week?"

He would, of course, return wearing a different shirt. One that had all of its buttons intact.
"I think it's time you were reminded why the apartment remains a good investment."
