The Magpie Emporium; Friday [05/02].
Today, the Magpie Emporium's best customer was going to be the person who was working there. It was Graham's last day, and he was going to take advantage of it before he left to stock up on all sorts of things he'd been eying. He had a list. He was going to have to go back and get Triumph to help him carry all this stuff back with him. But he had a lot of great plans for his little knightly tabletop group, and some board games for when the guards had downtime (ha! Bored games!), some to bring home to his sisters that he thought they would like, too...
And it was a little sad having to think that his little return had come to its end so quickly again, but he was really, really excited about what lied ahead. Who knew? Maybe even King Edward would like a board game or two, or some shiny dice, or some cute little plushies. If they had a war board, he could populate his ranks with awesome minis!
Finishing one chapter was always a little sad, but the nice thing was that there was always another chapter following it, and who knew what one would find in those next pages?

"How are you celebrating your final day in the shop? Adventure games? Pocket potatoes? Games about potatoes? Those exist, surely?"

The fact that he even knew so many potato games, though....

"Perhaps should we play a potato game? Or something more adventurous?"

She smiled back at him.
"We'll simply have to create some sort of ruse if she comes in. Perhaps pretend I'm a customer and you're explaining a game to me... perhaps trying to get me to purchase some dice?"

This man had a problem, and half his visits back to the island would be because he was just jonesing for shiny new math rocks.
