Pick Your Poison, Thursday
There were bags of chips tucked away around the store. Behind a row of bathbombs? Fun-sized bag of Doritos. Bottom drawer of the counter? Bag of tortilla chips. Above a light fixture? Party-sized bag of Fun-yuns. Hidden under the shelf? Fritos. Supply closet? Cheetos bag behind a broom. Even the cash register had individual chips (Ruffles Sour Cream and Onion and Lays Ketchup) tucked between each bill in the $5's and $10's sections.
At first, he'd thought that maybe he'd stumbled on Pam's secret snack stash. But he was forced to reassess when he found some of the more outlandish spots, like the Smartfood popcorn floating in the tank at the back of the toilet. And gave it up entirely when he found the chips in the till. He didn't know what the hell was happening, but he was pretty sure it wasn't Pam.
That was his day sorted, at least. Adrian was going to spend the rest of the day checking the weirdest, most out of the way places for party snacks. Like this bag of Chex Mix behind the radiator, sigh.
