After having a fair bit of energy the last couple of weeks, Liz was feeling rather tired when she came downstairs that morning. She had considered working from upstairs but thought she would be fine for a few hours as she tried to get as far ahead with her work as she could. She was being more careful and taking it as slow as she could while she worked through the tasks that she wanted to accomplish, so she didn’t tire too much.

If anything, working from downstairs would give Liz a bit of peace and quiet that morning, because oh so handwavily stopping by the park yesterday to warehouse shenanigans had Noctra feeling inspired to make her own cross-apartment obstacle course and...

But eventually, they did pause to make lunch, which was supposed to be wraps, but Prompto was failing at actually having the wraps wrap, so it just became salad.

"Hey, babe," he greeted as they swooped down, and he greeted her with the usual kiss. "Want some lunch?"

Liz gave a tired smile as she returned the kiss, “lunch sounds amazing, I could definitely do with a break,” she told him.
