Pixie Dust; Tuesday [05/20]
Boc was still feeling rather uncertain about having hired Luma on to work at the shop; she seemed very nice and pretty on the surface, but there was a certain feralness about her, especially if she made herself more wolflike, that reminded him a little too much of some of the other demi-humans back home. Obviously not so bad as them, but it felt like they were threading a very thin needle. He couldn't tell if she made herself more wolf-like around him to make him feel more at ease with his own appearance, or the complete opposite, ill at ease, with the reminder of the viciousness inherent in those sharp teeth, those long claws, that massive build.
But there was one distinct benefit, he was discovering. Sometimes, when she changed or shifted, Luma would rip her clothes, and there was already a small pile of pieces that he'd offered to stitch back up for her. He'd offered to perhaps alter some of her garments with a stretchy sort of material, too, so that they could shift with her, but she just laughed and said that was a silly idea, so he mostly tabled it for now.
He might still try, though, just to see if he could, once he was finished with the regular alterations.
