Furnado Animal Shelter; Wednesday [05/21].
Prompto was hoping for a nice quiet morning like last week before going to get Noctra to take her to the park for a bit before coming back with her, but thanks to someone (he had his suspicions targeted on a group of cats that seemed to be spending an awful lot of time near some of the bird cages), several of the bird had been released, and were swooping around the roof trying to avoid the very cats he was pretty sure were trying to let them out not as a jailbreak but as a lunchbreak.
Imagine his relief to find that all the birds were accounted for and none of the cats were licking feathers from their mouths or paws.
Getting the birds back into the cages was going to be a lot of fun, too, but at least no one seemed harmed! And once that was taken care of, Prompto was definitely allowing himself to take it easy for the rest of the day.
