The Photo Hut - Thursday

Liz had had a rather restless night and was rather tired that morning and she had considered not coming downstairs but she did want to try and get a bit further with the admin work and catch up on some emails. She was was only planning on staying for a few hours though and taking it rather slow.

Prompto loved pizza. Prompto also love sandwiches, and Prompto had also come into finding a recipe that combined both, and now he was pretty sure he'd created a monster with how much Noctra was also loving the pizza sandwiches, especially when dipped in ranch.

He was pretty sure Liz was going to love them, too.

Thankfully, Noctra was still too little to eat too much of them, although not for want for trying! But there was still plenty leftover for lunch when they finally made it downstairs to bring some to Liz. "Lunchtime!" he announced happily, and Noctra parroted it after him. He swung on over to where Liz was working to sweep in with a quick kiss. "Ready for a break?"

Liz smiled as she returned the kiss, glad for the chance to take a break, “I’m definitely ready for a break,” she told him.

"Good," Prompto said, grinning as he set down both Noctra and the food on the counter. "Because we made food, and I was going to be really bummed out if you couldn't wat some with us."

Liz smiled at that, “it all smells so wonderful, I think I could definitely help share some pizza,” she assured him.

"You're just lucky this little pizza monster," Prompto grinned fondly as he booped Noctra on the nose, and met her giggles by handing her a smaller of the sandwiches, "didn't eat all of them before we came down here! I think she's a fan."

"Pizza pizza pizza!" Came thr agreeing little chant.

Liz smiled fondly at that as she watched them, “then I’m definitely looking forward to trying them,” she told them, “I think it’s just what I needed,”

"Good," Prompto said again, this time a little softer, fond, with maybe a touch of understandable concern. "It hasn't been too bad today, had it? Is there anything else you might need?"

“Its been all right down here this morning,” Liz reassured him, “I’ve just been feeling a little tired,” she admitted.

"You want me to take over down here this afternoon so you can sneak upstairs and have a nap?" Prompto offered, looking pretty hopeful for an opportunity to help any way he could.

“Actually a nap does sound really good,” Liz admitted, “you wouldn’t mind staying down here to cover for me?”

"You know I don't," Prompto reminded her with a soft, sympathetic smile, leaning in to steal a kiss on her cheek before his attention turned to Noctra.

"What do you say, nugget?" he asked. "You wanna work with me in the shop today so your mom can get some peace and quiet for a nice nap?"

"Okay," Noctra said, without even a moment's of hesitation.

"Well," Prompto laughed, taken aback by the swift answer, "that was easy!"

It was probably due to her distraction in eating her pizza sandwich, but she wasn't so distracted that she didn't take the chance to lean over and reach out to give Liz a pat on her shoulder.

"Naps is impordan, Mommy," she said, with an almost sage-like seriousness.

And, really, better her mommy taking a nap than her!

“They definitely are,” Liz agreed with a fond smile, “then I think once I finish lunch, I’ll go upstairs for a nap,” she said, “thank you fir doing this,” she added gratefully.

"Don't even mention it!" Prompto assured her, with a little finger gun and a wink headed her way. "I gotchu, babe. You know I'm just glad to do what I can to help."

Especially since at least he was actually here to help her through this part of her pregnancy this time.
