Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

Rey was cleaning up a little, just picking up remotes and things from earlier training, and there was a porg following her. She wasn't sure where it came from but she'd given up caring about things like that. What she did care about was that she was getting slightly annoyed.

"Can you wait over there?" she asked, pointing towards a crate.

The porg gave a little trill and a flap of its wings, and then hopped on over to make up some distance between them for when she started walking again.

Maybe she should charge admission, it was basically a zoo in here now.

Anakin was having just the longest day, and he finally made it over to the warehouse. "Rey?"

"Follow the porg," she called, as the porg bumped into her heel.

"This feels like a trap," Anakin teased, following the porg.

"It's only a trap if I lead you unto it," she said. "I have a very short shadow."

"And I am willingly following your directions, so if it is a trap, it's on me, too," Anakin said.

Rey made it the rest of the way to the storage locker and put the remotes in there.

"I don't know what was so exciting about that."

"What's exciting about walking into a trap?" Anakin asked.

"Not a trap," she said. "I'm just trying to clean up."

"Oh," Anakin said. "There's nothing interesting about cleaning."

"And yet he follows," she said with a sigh. "I don't get it."

"Maybe he has a crush," Anakin said.

"Why would you even say that?"

Ew.

"Love knows no species," Anakin said, piously and unhelpfully.

"You're not funny," she told him.

The porg did not care. Where was the porg, actually?

"I am hilarious, but possibly only to me," Anakin said.
