Luke's Diner; Tuesday [08/19].
Ignis's consistency in coming into work lately had been...well, quite frankly, very un-Ignis-like in its sporadic nature these days, but if his fellow diner staff thought that leniency was going to leak into the rest of his disposition when he did actually make it in, then they would be sorely mistaken.
However, despite that, he was fairly sure that the faint groan that accompanied his arrival that morning had very little to do with his actual presence, and more to do with a new factor being added to the betting board, based on the sound of shifting feet and squeaking markers.
Ignis himself, of course, wasn't going to comment unless any of them began that conversation, and would just stroll in as he always did, hitting up that coffee pot first and foremost before settling in to decide on a few good recipehs for the board.
Today's Specials
Asparagus Pesto Chicken Sandwich with Parmesan Fries
Baked Tofu Pesto Bowl
Grilled Peaches with Sweet Mint Pesto
Luke's is open! And pesto-y!

and also now I want some. Especially in the summer, bright and light and refreshing, almost.Hopefully Ignis was prepared to provide her with a pesto lunch that wasn't the same as what was on the specials board--because of course, when there was an Ignis in Luke's, a Liliana would likely follow, almost certainly in some grand style as was befitting, well, her.
"Hello, darlings," she said, taking a moment to lean in the doorway, letting the sun highlight her becomingly for a long moment before sauntering inside. "Hello, my darling."

That moment did allow for one last sip of coffee before he headed around the counter to meet Liliana, until his hand found its rightful spot at her hip and his lips their rightful place against hers.
"Hello, my love," he greeted back. "Feeling rather magnanimous in our greetings today?"
In that anyone else even got one at all.

ಠ_ಠ"A basic tactic," she said, leaning in to brush a kiss over his lips. Teasing and short, barely there. "If I always ignore them, they'll cease caring. But sporadic? It means they never know when to expect it next."

😇"Ah, yes," Ignis grinned faintly. "Going for the unexpected and unpredictable tactic, with a slight touch of always leaving them wanting more. The latter of which I can confidently attest to yoi being particularly skilled at."
He did not suspect he would be left too wanting, however, from this very next kiss.

"And how much more do you want?" she whispered when the kiss finally broke--and after her teeth released his bottom lip.

And now Liliana was to feel Ignis's smile against hers, before responding with his voice already dropped to that rumbling register that were for her ears only.
"Far more," he said, "than can likely be given, but feel free to prove me wrong in tgat regard."
Required, indeed. The kiss that followed could only claim to know 'professional' at a passing glance.

There was a pantry. Bathrooms, probably. Stairway heading up to the apartment...

He lifted his lips to whisper into her hear has, painting a picture with sensuous words of what true shamelessness or lack of modesty could truly entail.
And after punctuating those sentiments with another kiss, he wasted no time in starting to pull her with him toward the door.

Hands entwined, a laugh on her bee-stung lips, Lilana followed Ignis out the door and down the road.
